ABOUT THE ROLE & PERSON
Due to continued growth we are currently looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to join our team based out of London. Your focus will be on delivering our sales and marketing objectives, empowering, and leading the sales and marketing team and be a key point of contact for our new and existing clients.
You will become an integral part of the management team, spearheading our business development efforts to develop the profile of our business, identify opportunities, gather briefs and ultimately win new business across B2B/B2C.
As the Sales & Marketing Director you will be responsible for bringing appropriate new projects into the business. You will ensure we are meeting our commercial targets and help to keep our clients happy.
Our target verticals are: Financial Services, Professional Services, Tech, Space & Place. You will identify and nurture key prospects, building and maintaining strategic relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels.
You will spearhead pitches in response to client briefs and understand the client’s business and objectives. You will understand how ideas can travel across media and work with teams to help translate ideas across executions.
You will empower, manage and support the sales and marketing team, developing them into a high-performing commercial team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience working in a senior Sales & Marketing role within a marketing/creative agency environment, B2B or B2C.
Experience working with Financial/Professional services, Tech or Place & Space clients.
Proven experience overachieving targets and comfortable maintaining GP margins.
Proven experience bringing in accounts of £500k+.
Good understanding of the management of integrated campaigns; creative, branding, content, digital, and social.
Experience managing and motivating sales and marketing teams.
Excellent communications skills both written and verbally.
